Top 5 Firefox Add-ons

In no particular order :

  • Autocopy : I have no clue why this add-on is not usually listed among the top ones. Works flawlessly, and judging from the times I use it per minute probably it's my #1. I am using AutoCopy2 as of recently - haven't noticed any differences, comment if you know anything.
  • Scrapbook : Made in Japan. Saves a webpage and lets you edit it. I mean saves a webpage, all of it, and the css. Yes can follow links too. I have half the CS wiki and the beth forum in my scrapbook sidebar. I think this particular one is 6 stars.
  • TabMixPlus : It features among other things a control tab feature for tabs. A real one - focusing on last used tab :) Ah, yes - and multirow tab bar. And highlighting of current/unread/etc tabs. Indispensable.
  • Repagination : Expand the search results in the same page. Yes for forums too. Should be in FF vanilla.
  • Session Manager : on steroids.
  • Lazarus : Download and install it now. Saves what you type in webforms. Do it now.
  • Launch Clipboard : Open URLs stored in clipboard. Lots of them.
  • Filter Extensions : Indispensable (I have 113 add-ons and counting).
  • Not compatible with FF4+ - still its functionality is missing
  • Chroma Tabs Plus : Beautiful foxie.
  • Not compatible with recent FFs - Colorful tabs had glitches, maybe fixed by now.
  • Adblock Plus : I had this since before history - it really annoys me to sit on a computer that does not have it installed. Annoys me almost as sitting on a computer with IE as default browser (there is a whole family of IE embedders for firefox btw).
  • DownThemAll, Video DownloadHelper come always handy. DownThemAll features, apart from speed, a list of recently downloaded locations which is absolutely necessary (I wish there were more than 15 locations max). Plus many more advanced batch download features (with filters, renames and all).
