Now, you HAVE to download the latest Unofficial FCOM Updates which contains :
FCOM_Convergence.esmand use those in place of the respective FCOM ones. You do understand (after the reading you've done) that you should at least install the files in orange. For FCOM_WarCry.esp see the WC section of this guide. Now you can use the UFCOM_Convergence BSA instead of the FCOM meshes and texture resources - I like to unpack those BSAs so I can see the conflicts insid'em but you might as well not do this. I did it for you (edited - you still have to delete thumb.dbS and desktop.iniS). The real difference is the painebonylongs.dds (and the lowercase everywhere - may be useful for the Linux crowd). If you want to use the bsa itself, I repeat, do not use the resources from FCOM\01 Resources.

Download Entropic Order rebalance from the FCOM Site (direct link). Choose one esp.
